Harry Daniels is a 24-year old independent singer, songwriter and musician born in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham UK.

Harry’s song writing takes influence from artists such as Scott Matthews, Lianne La Havas, Ben Howard and Joni Mitchell amongst many more.

Biography

At the age of ten, following his attendance at St Josephs and Bishop Walsh Schools, hearing the music at his local church and listening to his sister, a talented singer in her own right, Harry decided to explore music more and took up guitar lessons with established music-teacher Mandy Burton.

At the age of 17 Harry started playing open mic sessions around Birmingham and his song writing with lyrics started to take shape.

In 2012 Harry attended Access to Music in Birmingham, one of the UK’s leading designers and providers of popular music education, training and consultancy. He received Three Distinctions for Music Performance. This formed the foundation for Harry’s move to Cheltenham to study BA Hons in Popular music at the University of Gloucester gaining a 2:1 in 2017. During his period at University, through hard-work and a passion for music, Harry released his first single in 2015 Statue.

Harry went on to release 'Troubadour' in February 2017 via Apollus Music, described as ‘an exceptional track‘ by Rock Press Music. It has subsequently gone on to become one of his most popular songs with his ever-growing fan-base.

Harry’s debut E.P. 'Resurface' was released in March 2017 and is available online and in physical form.

Harry has performed at popular music venues across the UK as a solo artist and abroad with the Harry Daniels Band including Venice, Prague and Amsterdam. The band headlined Cheltenham’s Glos-Tone-Beret Festival in March 2018. Harry has recently performed live sets on BBC Radio Gloucester and Brum Radio.

Harry is currently in the studio working on brand-new material for his forthcoming EP which will be released later this year.

Harry is concentrating on expanding his performances in his home city of Birmingham and moving down the motorway to Bristol, London and beyond both as a solo artist and with the Harry Daniels Band.
